STUDENT LEADERSHIP

PURPOSE

Student co-creation and community organizing are core HCCP values. Our team aims to encourage student leaders by providing spaces to organize and create change. This begins with hiring students, teaching them core principles of community organizing, and supporting them to build community among each other. All alumni of HCCP programs are encouraged to join the team as strategy consultants to develop and lead future student programming.

In the spring of 2022, Ariana Mixon began a campaign to develop a peer mentorship group for URM pre-health students. Learn more about the Peer Mentorship campaign below.
